Isn't that the most bullshi**ed PR exercise by Ryanair? As you've said @Len Fish all allocations are doing weeks if not months in advance due to long term MX. I believe the allocation of each aircraft to certain routes is done the night before - from an operational perspective (swap aircraft a with b as its better suited for the allocated routes) but the allocations to each base etc is defo defo done months in advance.
Probably to compete in name terms with the far more catchy and cleverly named Airbus NEO series.Why change from a numeric system that they have used for decades?
They operate a 1aircraft base at BOH. 56 weekly flights is still pretty substantial.Looking like they will pull out all together at some stage in the future so unless this announcement which we may or may not get in January ,based on past history, is Mega we are going backwards and downwards.
