Great addition - I always thought/wanted this one.. will be great for the Rugby matches (Catalans) and a cheaper alternative to Girona/Barcelona etc. should be successful on both inbound and outbound traffic. & its great to see Ryanair again add another route without competition / completely new.

The reason it is not served from many airports or by many airlines is that most operate into Girona which is very close by. Many, if not most, passengers arriving in PGF will be heading south over the border into Spain. So I doubt it will attract many passengers from further away. I have often wondered why RYR serve both GRO and PGF.

Could be good for the rugby traffic for the Catalan dragons.

I have often wondered why RYR serve both GRO and PGF.

But then they also operate into BCN REU and GRO… which are all close together. The more choices the better depending on peoples preferences.

I suspect that the not only will this be great for Leeds Castleford Wakefield and Huddersfield but both Hull clubs plus over the hill teams should use it
