By this time last year, there were several ad-hoc charters booked for Perpignan and Toulouse in connection with the Superleague rugby - Air Nostrum and Loganair primarily. There are none so far this year so it looks pretty likely that the teams are indeed taking the cheaper option of Ryanair schedules. Savvy move by Ryanair with the scheduling of the route and identifying this opportunity if so.

As the match was on Saturday, I wonder if they flew back on the inaugural Perpignan flight the next day. That would have saved the Dragons a considerable amount of money and presented both LBA and Ryanair with an excellent marketing opportunity.
Well that first pax load outbound that Yorkshirelad said was 114 was much better than I thought it would be. Seeing as LBA now seems to have employed someone who actually knows how to post stories on Facebook & IG it must have been a good opportunity to promote the Dragons taking the inaugural flight back home. Nice photos of the cake 🍰 though!

Things seem to be getting better and better for the new routes to Perpignan and Porto. As I write this post Perpignan is on 183/189 seats filled and Porto is sold out at 189/189! The inbounds are doing well as well (loads can be posted tomorrow upon request for inbound loads for accuracy purposes. All loads on routes and specific flights are available upon request)

FR DUB now x18 weekly, x3 x1 daily flight on Thursday added now x18 weekly
This makes DUB 19X weekly peak summer
If correct, That makes Ryanair operating up to 100x weekly flights peak summer (June to September) 2023 now?
I’ll check later when I have access to my records, but I believe it does

Just as an FYI peak would be July to September as Girona goes from 4 to 5X weekly in July (extra Saturday added)

It looks like Ryanair maybe planning to increase Leeds/Bradford - Paris Beauvais route from 2x to 3x weekly (Mon, Wed & Fri) starting from June 7th. Not as previously as expected from October 4th.
Also looks like Leeds/Bradford to Dublin will be 20x weekly this summer. As previously mentioned a 3rd daily (Thu) rotation was uploaded earlier in the week but now 3rd daily (Mon) rotation has also been up loaded too starting from June 5th.

So during Peak Summer schedule Ryanair will be operating 102x weekly rotations from its Leeds/Bradford base

The extra flights are not on sale yet via the www.ryanair.com website, but they are available to book on the Ryanair Mobile App,

Ryanair boss Michael O' Leary has today stated that due to the delayed delivery of a number of 737 MAX aircraft from Boeing, it is likely that some routes will have frequency cuts in the first half of summer, but which routes are affected appears to be undecided. Let's hope LBA avoids the cuts.

Ryanair have announced that due to the late delivery of an as yet unknown number of 737 MAX 8-200s from Boeing, they will be reducing frequency on some of their busier routes in peak summer. Nothing specific about which they are, but it seems to be simply a reduction in frequency on some busy routes, and no cancelled routes.

They are changing their winter schedules from LBA...I`ve just had an email from them changing our flight to FUE on the 1st November to the following day, to a silly o clock departure time as well..They gave me the usual options, so tried to change dates, then I found all the schedules to all destinations from Leeds have been wiped from November onwards...FUE has been wiped from all other airports as well..
Very annoying as we`ve just put the deposit down on accomodation....grrrrr

Oh yes and Jet2 prices can only be described as insane!!

The LBA winter 2023/24 season flights are now loaded into system, Ryanair just haven't released for sale as yet so they are shown as sold out. They should become available shorty.

They have been on sale though for quite a while, hence I booked a while back £52ish each way but now they have pulled them....You`re right they`ll be back shortly but I`m too old for 6am starts in the winter so will have to consider the options

Be good to see FR get LPA back on the departure board. Winter looks great from them, Monday / Friday / Sunday double amount of flights as the rest of the week. Hopefully more will be added. Vilnius from either FR or W9 would be fantastic. Finally from FR I’d like to see LIS/MAD/BER & Milan added. One can only dream

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
