According to Sean M, Ryanair have axed all Ryanair UK routes other than those operating to Manchester, Stansted , Edinburgh and Belfast International. Can't help wondering why and what's going on.No it’s not just Leeds taken off sale, also includes Marrakesh to Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool & Newcastle
I’ve seen this with Ryanair before and ultimately the routes get reloaded at a later date. I wouldn’t be overly worried about it yet….No it’s not just Leeds taken off sale, also includes Marrakesh to Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool & Newcastle
I wonder how Tui feel about Ryanair making these random route cancellations. After all Tui could have sold seats on these flights.I’ve seen this with Ryanair before and ultimately the routes get reloaded at a later date. I wouldn’t be overly worried about it yet….
Possibly a regulatory issueAccording to Sean M, Ryanair have axed all Ryanair UK routes other than those operating to Manchester, Stansted , Edinburgh and Belfast International. Can't help wondering why and what's going on.

It will now be referred to Doncaster WaterfordMichael say thanks but no thanks to DSA…..
Here you go..
He's using the governments enthusiasm for DSA as leverage for the government to drop the passenger tax. It may even be a veiled message to DSA that if they pay the APD he will fly there. From the remarks he made it seems as though he regards the reopening as a dead duck, rightly citing competition from a rapidly expanding LBA and that there’s “not much of a traffic base”. Behind the showmanship he’s an astute chap with his feet on the ground (excuse the pun!). Others living in their own dream World would do well to listen to the reality of a highly successful veteran of aviation.
The amount DSA would have to pay Ryanair to fly there, they would effectively be paying the tax and then some. At best, they are unlikely to get anything more from Ryanair than Teesside. He's using the governments enthusiasm for DSA as leverage for the government to drop the passenger tax. It may even be a veiled message to DSA that if they pay the APD he will fly there.
