Just booked our Summer holiday flights to Alicante with Ryanair from LBA next year. Not looked at what else is on offer but at first glance it looks similar to this year

Looks like this hasn't been noticed yet. But Ryanair recommence 2x weekly Leeds/Bradford - Riga flights this Sunday. To accommodate new this schedule the Limoges service has changed days and will now operate on Saturdays and Tuesday utilising the free lots now that Dinars flights have stopped for the summer.

Ryanair have sent their latest specimen in to Leeds today in the form of EI FEF, just over a week of revenue service under it's belt so far.

Anyone know or have any idea as to when Ryanair will finally announce its LBA summer 2015 schedule.

As it would seem flights to Ibiza (2x weekly), Corfu (1x weekly), Pisa (2x weekly), which where on sale a few weeks back are now no longer bookable, that's along with Milan Bergamo, Dinard, Kos, & Gerona Barcelona which have not even be on sale at any time as yet!
With out knowing the facts I'm 100% certain that If we were to lose all these routes and flights I'm sure (with out working it out) it would allow Ryanair to remove at least 1 of the 3 Leeds based Boeing 737-800 aircraft and move over the hill to Manchester..

I just hope that I'm proved wrong and that LBA management are working with Ryanair so to introduce a better revised schedule for the 3 based machines, Hence the delayed schedule release for summer 2015 flights...

I think Girona has a high probability of being cut, in line with many other cuts due to a spat with that airport.

I'm sure its some tweaks being made, that many route cuts would be worrying!

Haven't they fallen out with Girona before? I seem to remember that they announced, with a great fanfare, that they were starting ops to Barcelona (the real one) but they eventually patched up their differences with Girona and it become a main base for them once again.

I don't think that any fall out with Girona will be long lived, as long as Girona capitulates and lets Ryan have what they want. After all that's the way Ryan operates isn't it?

PS Girona itself is a good long weekend destination. Only problem is, good accommodation is in relatively short supply.

I've just taken a look lbaspotter and from what I can see, the routes previously available you've listed and Kos are available to book for the month of August only.

Ibiza - 2x weekly. Sun & Weds (16:55 - 23:00)
Pisa - 2xweekly Sun (09:20 - 08:55) & Wed (11:55 - 12:20)
Corfu - 1xweekly. Weds (07:40 - 15:05)

After the 2008 global downturn and a series of squabbles over airport fees and government subsidies, Ryanair cut flights to Girona by more than half.

Their relationship demonstrates permanent " bruising ".

Given Ryanairs record of messing with schedules and bookings, I am surprised that anyone reads anything into this. We have seen them apparently pull routes before and then they are back on sale later. A couple of routes go off the booking engine and we are suddenly considering them pulling an aircraft out and sending it to MAN?

I agree White Heather, we go through this every year. Ryanair makes no bones releasing a press statements saying they are unhappy with the deal they are getting at a particular airport and that they intend to pull out if they don't get what they want. We haven't seen anything like that about Ryanair at Leeds so I don't think there's any cause for concern. Usually we're up to edition 20+ of the schedule by the time it's finalised early in the new year.

Well something is definitely happening with Ryanair. As routes from Leeds/Bradford to Milan Bergamo and Gerona Barcelona have now disappeared all together on the airlines booking website along with Dinard as previously mentioned by myself on here a few weeks ago, But as we know these things can change and the routes might all return in the longer term, Here's hoping!

On another note I would be shocked and disappointed if we are going to lose the Milan service. As it was successfully operated by Jet2 before Ryanair came in and run them off it. Where as Gerona Barcelona route loss will be most likely due to the on going spat between the two parties.

You still have the summer Verona service from Jet2, which I feel covers a better catchment area. Not as if no service at all to this area.

It would seem that the Ryanair based summer 2015 programme now works with 3 based aircraft working as follows. Major changes are that routes to Dinard, Milan Bergamo & Gerona Barcelona look to have been axed. I think we see extra flights to the Spanish Hot spots as a replacement. Meanwhile routes to Kos, Montpellier, Pisa-Florence and Kos will all have a reduced operating seasons.

Just noticed that Ryanair are to operate some extra services to Alicante, Arrecife, Malaga & Riga over the next 4 weeks covering the festive period as follows..

Tuesdays = Dec 23rd 30th & Jan 6th
FR2482 = Leeds 16:15 > Riga 20:55 / FR2483 = Riga 21:20 > Leeds 22:20

Wednesdays = Dec 17th, 24th, 31st & Jan 7th
FR2047 = Arrecife 07:05 > Leeds 11:30 / FR2048 = Leeds 12:00 > Arrecife 16:20

Fridays = Dec 19th, 26th & Jan 2nd
FR2447 = Malaga 15:30 > Leeds 17:40 / FR2446 = Leeds 18:05 > Malaga 22:10

Sundays = Dec 21st, 28th & Jan 4th
FR9078 = Alicante 15:00 > Leeds 17:00 / FR9079 = Leeds 17:25 > Alicante 21:15

I see that FR are talking about big expansion in Germany. Does anyone think that we might have a sniff at some German routes? I would love to see Munich back on our route map, not to mention Berlin and Cologne.
