Very peculiar... I cannot specifically answer your question other than to say that recently in a photo op at BHX a man by the name of Simon Richards was identified as the 'acting managing director'.
Now what that means i do not know. For a few months now i have speculated that the role of chief executive officer (CEO) may have been dropped after Paul Kehoe left and at some stage he would be replaced by a managing director.
Whether Simon Richards will fill that role or someone else will be appointed only the airport's board of directors will know.
After well over a year since Kehoe left it is not unreasonable to think that the role of CEO has been abandoned. However, as far as i know, there is still a chief operating officer (COO).
Like everyone else who has an interest in BHX i am keen to know what is going on within the management structure there. And for the airport's future and success, i think there needs to be some transparency....
