N307FL B738 DHL -a09:00e-n/s fm Tashken (arrived 0922 according to F24)

Hard to find any info on this acft, found this link https://www.planespotters.net/airframe/boeing-737-800-n307fl-flight-lease/rqdd6e

Appears to have been converted to a freighter at Tianjin Binhai International Airport (TSN) and then flown here via Tashken. Be nice to see some brand new registered planes like this flown for some work at STS before going into service

The Titan A333 G-EODS has arrived this morning for maintenance by STS so should be with us for a while.
Meanwhile the three Wedgetails are still firmly esconsed with a initial in service date is sometime in 2025 being the MOD's latest guess.

One of the Wedgetails has broken cover from STS and is just lining up on the runway for a flight.

Well that was a short lived trip out. The Wedgetail waited for the Silkway 74F to come across the runway to the Elmdon ramp and then started moving down the runway. No sooner had it set off then reverse thrust come on and he pulled off the runway. They are just moving back to the end of the runway now for what looks like another go. Could this be some testing for high speed braking? If so it is not the most convenient of times as the SV flight is waiting to proceed to the end of the runway to depart back home.

Update. The same thing has just happened again which makes me think it is just testing procedures etc. It will be interesting to see if they try a third time.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
