KLM are to reduce the Leeds to Amsterdam route from 3x to 2x daily for remainder of this week

Its the evening KLM1549/1550 rotation that's been cacelled.

As was to be expected KLM have announced its making further cuts to the Leeds/Bradford –Amsterdam route next week (Between March 22nd & March 28th) with the service being reduced from 3x to 1x daily Embraer 190 operating as follows.

KLM1545 = AMS 09:25 - LBA 09:30 / KLM1546 = LBA 10:00- AMS 12:15

It looks like KLM have down graded all our flights to EMB.170 aircraft. This morning PH-EXZ is operating the flight and yesterday both flights were operated by '170s

I was supposed to be flying LBA-AMS with KLM on the 11th April. Of course I have now opted not to however, it could have been on the 737-700!

Update from KLM for the start of the summer 2020 schedule.
From Sunday, March 29th KLM will operate just 57+ routes worldwide and includes a daily Amsterdam - Leeds flight.
I've just checked the booking engine and it shows next weeks 1x daily flight (KL1541/1542 rotation) is still planned to be operated by the KLM (Mainline) Boeing 737-700.

FR24 is showing a 73W on the KL1541 tomorrow. Let's see what turns up.

Seating plan shows E190 on KLM's own website.

Shame really as the KLM Mainline Boeing 737-700's were originally due to start operating the scheduled KLM1541/1542 rotation (Sun-fri) yesterday.

The AMS flights have now been cancelled and recommence on the 4th of May. The last flight will be tomorrow. Once they return on the 4th of May they will be back at 3x daily however, this could all rapidly change as new measures come into place regarding Covid-19.

KLM has just sent confirmation for trip early next year LBA-AMS-CPT. Note aircraft type for LBA-AMS sector. If this is correct it’s a substantial downgrade if frequency unchangedView attachment 16424

I've also just checked the dates on KLM's own website and its still showing your flights operated by the Embraer 190 when doing the a flight booking on the dates you've selected and & adding seats. See below for details. https://www.klm.com/home/gb/en

Who knows what the world economy will be like in 2021, deep recession probably and airlines, those that survive and many will not, will no doubt start out cautiously and build up capacity as the need increases. Things will not be the same for a long time!.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours

Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
