Even if a fourth service could be justified at LBA there could well be other routes where an additional aircraft could be more profitably utilised. What we would like for LBA and what we get in the light of aviation economic reality are two completely different things.

It's not that long ago that we, and especially I, were complaining about the number of E175 rotations so let's celebrate more E190/E295s and see where that may lead. Certainly seems KLM have confidence in the route

Nothing was written on the aircraft it was signs for a photo and video shoot.

We seem to have an E175 back today as night stopper and this morning's mid morning flight was an E195. Both have recently been E295s. Was this expected? I would have expected Monday to be a busy day with rhe E295 operating?

Yes it was planned change due to summer School Holidays which see less business passengers. The larger E295 will return from the last weekend in August.

See link for timetable I posted a few months back.

I am looking at flights from Leeds to Vienna next May. Out Sunday teatime and back Friday 22:00. E190 both ways.

So I wonder if we are losing the E195's again at some point?

Doubtful. Both are weekend flights so liable to use smaller aircraft on some flights. KLM are clearly changing equipment according to time of year, day of the week and time of day. This morning, for example, it was an E195-2 on the 0930 arrival despite most flights currently operating on E190s and E175s.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
