KLM City Hopper's Amsterdam to Leeds/Bradford route will operate 21x weekly* (3x daily Mon-Sun) this summer 2026 season. We also see the new larger 136 seated Embraer 195-E2's scheduled more often along with the Embaer 190 & 175's making quite a few apperances.
Let's hope the number of E295s scheduled actually happens as recent history tells us we get a lot of E175s when it should have been something bigger. One positive here though is that demand could soar whilst there are fewer connections from other airports via the ME so for e.g. it may make LBA-AMS-SIN more attractive than MAN-AMS-SIN when there are fewer MAN-DXB-SIN possibilities at the moment
Well that gives KLM operational flexibility. If they don't sell the seats they can swap it out for smaller aircraft. But the intention is there from KLM to use Cityhopper biggest aircraft just people need to use the route. Could the airport do more to promote the route ie advertising in the airport, on social media, in the area in general? One suggestion could be to take down the British Airways advertising on the airbridge and replace it with KLM advertising?
To compound the problem KLM have changed the rest of todays flights to E175's I think ladt time I looked the mid morning was an E190, early pm an E175 and this afternoons a B737.

Probably a glitch caused by the switch to BST. If you look further, you will find the Ryanair UK and a Jet2 are also showing estimated departure times exactly 1 hour early. The LBA departures is showing the normal departure times.

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
