Could it be Hifly CS-TEX? I know TAP have been hiring in aircraft from hifly due to an A330-200 being damaged at Belem and switching from White Airways A310 to Hifly A310 on one of the Brazilian routes.

That could well be it, Hi Fly usually position in on a Friday night but I've not seen anything this evening so I guess it's arriving in the morning.

For any reg spotters out there tonight's AIC113/4 will be operated by 788 VT-ANC, which believe will be a first visit to BHX.

For those interested Scandinavian A319 OY-KBO is due just after 18:30 which is in the retro livery, I wish I could get down for a picture.

Tonight's AIC113 has taken an even more northern route than usual, breaking land over Mablethorpe then heading overhead Doncaster before turning south around the Oldham area passing over MAN on it's way down, it was almost the exact routing of PK701 which was not far behind :s_dunno

They seem to be becoming an annual event. I think they've been doing them now for the last three years.

The first Thomson 787 Dreamliner arrived just before 15:00, I went up to the car park to get some pictures but it was parked in stand 42C, I imagine there's some promo stuff going on?

Tomorrow evenings (19th) Aegean flight from Athens is currently showing as A321 SX-DGQ. It's obviously very early days and still very much subject to change.

787 G-TUID will be arriving in the next few minutes. Lufthansa A320 D-AIUD is due at 08:35 which I believe has their Fanhansa titles used for the World Cup, as they won the tournament I wonder if they will keep them. Aegean from Athens is still showing as an A321.

Not sure what has happened at EMA,maybe weather related, but BHX has seen a few diversions this afternoon. At least 1 maybe 2 RYR plus 1 Jet2 and a TCX A321.

Thunderstorms likely, not been too bad over BHX area.

Aegean upgrade is a good sign. :good:

Lufthansa have been using plenty of A321's recently on the Frankfurt route, Turkish have also used A321's for the last couple of days with another due in the morning, all definitely good to see :good:

On another note I bet there were some sighs of relief from the pax and crew of AIC113 from BHX to DEL when they realised they were only 15 miles from MH17 when it was shot down :shok:

Today was the last day of the Emirates schedule change, as of tomorrow (21st) EK39 is back to the normal 12:35 arrival with EK40 departing at 14:15.

It's also nice to see these on the board for Tuesday :)

Beijing China Southern CZ 3001 06:40

Beijing China Southern CZ 3002 12:00

A shame EK's morning arrival didn't last a week longer as that and the China Southern parked up would have been a nice photo for the spotters.

Hopefully EK will be running a few minutes early, if the China Southern then pushes back a couple of minutes late we could have one holding as one is landing :) Anyone else getting up early to go and see it?

Another A321 on this mornings Turkish TK1967, TC-JRJ due at 09:53.

CZ3001 is now airborne, but if you are using FR24 don't take too much notice of the times.
I am not sure how a flight can take off 10 minutes late but still arrive 50mins early.Even with prevailing winds that might be pushing it!!
Am happy to be proved wrong though :D

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
