New surface car park and improved drop off car park with 30 mins free and a new walkway to the terminal. Improved baggage screening (already underway) doubling capacity. The number of self service check in desks is to be doubled with new digital branding and a new ATC surface radar installed.
There has been talk of some internal reconfiguration but I've not heard anything official on that one.
Looking at BHX's annual air transport movements, 2016 will come in at around 104k
Which is still lower than in 2000, obviously bigger aircraft now but still not a 'busy' as 2000.
So lots of runway capacity

If the EK41/42 cancellations are taken into account then Emirates are actually up.
It's going to take a great 2017 to get the 13.5 million that some are predicting.
BHX should handle betwen 12.6m-13.5m - depending on what rumour you believe !!
assuming we hit 11,550,000 pax in 2016, you figures Ian would equate to growth between 9-17%
