I agree with BrumX. Went there with Mrs Yokel a few years ago one March. Weather was unseasonably mild which added to the enjoyment of looking around a beautiful and interesting city. A trip on the River Vltava is one of many potential highlights.

It's easy to get around Prague, particularly on the Metro and on the trams, and we speak no Czech.

That's good one - not the most eye-catching of routes but one of the bread and butter ones that needs to be nurtured. Hopefully they will be able to withstand the introduction of Jet2 in November. Are there any automotive links between Prague and the West Midlands?

Great news! CSA could also chip in on connections with KE/CSA to ICN, as well as the o&d traffic on BHX-PRG.

...doesn't csa fly to edi too??

Didn't realise LPL had been dropped!!!

EDI is no longer on the Czech website so I am assuming it's been dropped. In fairness their route went via somewhere on Poland so less than ideal I guess.

Liverpool still appears, Wiki has it as seasonal so maybe it's just gone for winter.

It'll be good to see Birmingham go daily, Eastern Europe seems to be doing very well at the moment so hopefully they'll be able to coexist with Jet2.

Nothing substantive, would suggest this route is much more leisure orientated.

Well I booked my Ma and Pa onto CSA for a lovely little pre-xmas city break to enjoy the xmas markets from 1st-5th December. Will get them to give some feedback along with how full the flight is.

Pretty reasonable prices at the time I booked but as suggested, with BHX now the only U.K. Route for CSA and expanding, something appears to be working!!!

The extra flights are starting to be added, although it seems to be taking rather a long time with a few weeks seemingly added each day.

There are a few odd days still to be done but it looks daily from the end of March until the end of October, which is as far as is bookable at the moment.

PRG will go 6x weekly from 11th April 2017 (Tue flight added) and then daily from 1st July 2017 (Sat flight added).
All on sale. Good to see the route and a recently returning airline expanding.
Daza

Winter is now bookable up until Jan at 4x weekly, Thu, Fri, Sun and Mon. There are lots of extra flights added over the Christmas and New Year period.

So with Jet2 on the route Prague will be 6x weekly :)

Hi Ray. Are Czech still going daily during the summer months ?

They go 6x weekly from April then daily from July.

I think it goes back to 6x weekly at some point during October, then 4x weekly (except Xmas and NY) until Jan, which is as far as it goes.

Well having just returned from a stag weekend in Prague (flew U2 MAN-PRG and EZ PRG-MAN), I can vouch that it's a great city and proved very popular, both flights were completely full!

I did suggest CSA from BHX, but timings and cost couldn't convince the gang! However, with both CSA and U2 on the route next year, a lot more choice is available!

Great city break!

Interesting, I just did a Skyscanner search to see what impact Jet2 will have on CSA.

Looking at a pre-Xmas city break (great for Xmas market shopping)!

Fri 15th - Mon 18th Dec
CSA (BHX-PRG) = £128 Rtn
Jet2 (BHX-PRG) = £213 Rtn
Jet2 (MAN-PRG) = £214 Rtn

CSA offering some cracking offers so close to Xmas!

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
