Has anyone had any difficulties trying to change their flight(s) for travelling during July and August? The well advertised wavering of the normal £35 admin flight change fee for these months does not seem to be deployed on the Ryanair app or within the website, as when I try to change my flight within my account on both the app and website, it attempts to charge me the £35? All I want to do is move a flight from 10th July to 10th August.
Is it a case of calling the customer service team?

Tenth-ranked Manchester has become key part of Ryanair’s network
Manchester ranked tenth for estimated profitability, with almost €59.5 million.

The airport has quickly become a key part of the ULCC’s network both by financial performance and capacity growth. Ryanair is now the airport’s number-one airline.

Since 2010, the carrier has grown from one route to Dublin with 419,000 annual seats to six million seats and 69 routes (between April 2019 and March 2020).

In this year period, Ryanair added multiple new routes from Manchester, including Billund, Gothenburg, Marrakesh, Nantes, and Prague.

Any news on how many based aircraft will be at MAN and LPL this winter?

Any news on how many based aircraft will be at MAN and LPL this winter?
Ryanair currently have 12x aircraft based in Manchester, all of which have been flying over the last couple of days.
The 12x B738s based are registered EI-DAS/DCH/DCK/DCR/DPN/EBD/EBZ/EKW/ENW/EST/EVB/EVG
Looking at the schedule for a Monday in mid-November shows 7x aircraft required, but this does not mean the base will be reduced, just that aircraft will be utilised less, like every winter.

Liverpool currently have 5x B738s based (EI-DLH/EFY/ENF/EVP/EVS) and the same Monday in November shows the schedule only requiring 2x aircraft.

Looking at the whole week in mid-November and comparing it to the same week last year, the number of scheduled Ryanair flights from both MAN and LPL this November are down by just under 50%.

Thanks @Severn for the detailed info 🙂
I'm keep my eye on Ryanair at both these airports. We have flights booked to Malaga from MAN (21/12 returning 01/01) with EZY and some friends are also flying over from LPL. I'm hoping Ryanair will be our saviour if EZY cancel the flights...

Over on the LPL thread, it's been reported that Ryanair have confirmed they are reducing capacity by 50% during the winter season and also confirmed the list of destinations it will serve.
Do we have the same for MAN?

My better half is fretting that we won't be able get to Malaga (currently booked with EZY on 21st December). My response is "between EZY & RYR we will get there, even if not from a local airport"!

Why would you want to go to Spain anyway with Covid 19 on the rampage? The probability of traveling is you might get a flight out ok but then get stuck if either Ryanair or Easyjet cancel flights.

The question from me is why wouldn't you want to travel?!
I have travelled twice on business since August to both France and Germany with no problems and as I work in the aviation industry, I am not going to let COVID-19 ruin my plans that were made prior to the pandemic.
Sensible precautions are in place, follow the rules and be sensible and there should be no reason why we can't enjoy Christmas away in the sun.

As for getting back, between EZY, RYR and the legacy carriers there will be a way. On return, we are able to work from home for 14 days (hopefully shorter timescale by then ).

Zagreb. One of those European capitals that ought (imho) to be on the departure board. Belgrade, Ljubljana, Luxembourg, Moscow, Tallinn and Vilnius for a full house?

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
