A good win for Fulham last night meaning they must be favourites for second spot, it doesn't do us any favours for the last game of the season. Looking at the table a draw against us would see Fulham go up on goal difference even with a Cardiff win, unless it's by 8 clear goals.

Hopefully we can get the job done today at QPR. Even a draw would do so long as Barnsley and Burton don't win.

Squeaky bum time :nailbiting:

Oh the joys of being a blues fan. and once more into the final game we go relying on others...to be honest a win against Fulham? So for one week only I am a Derby, Preston and Forest fan simultaneously.

To be in the situation of needing a result on the last day for 2 years in a row and the 3rd time in 5
years is shocking. To be honest i've reached the point where i feel they need to be put out of their misery
and sent down.A very disillusioned and angry Bluenose

Both Manchester City and Leicester City have been in the third tier in the past 20 years and both later went on to win the Premier League. Wolves were also in the third tier a few years ago. I'm not suggesting it would be a good thing for Blues to be relegated (although perhaps some Villa fans might not agree) but there are examples of clubs rising from the ashes.

To repeat my post of the other day never EVER underestimate the ability of the Blues to disapoint but ever hopeful I rekon we will scrape by.

You just took me back to the mid 90's when we won the old second division :)

Who will ever forget Barry Fry, Stevie Claridge and of course, Paul Tait's golden goal against Carlise giving us the Auto Windscreens Trophy?

Birmingham City are the masters of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Careful Mr Butty or you might find the Donald sending a cruise missile your way!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
