What a day that would be for The Moors, I do hope that they can do it.

Anyone know when the replay is?
Tue 18th Dec. 19.45 kick off. I wonder if 'Aunty' will show the replay?
I hope they can do it. I certainly enjoyed the first game. Proper cup football! End to end stuff, really entertaining and it wouldn't have been unfair if they had won.

Great to see the Mighty Moors getting the publicity. Just hope they stay grounded. Tonight will be a tough test against Harrogate. Focus on the League, but hopefully win a tie against the Gunners.

Maybe Jag LR will sponsor them?

It is on BT One.

Won again this evening. Beginning to think about becoming a Yellow and Bluenose rather than just a Blue one!

If they can win the replay you might be able to get your wish butty as they could switch the match to St Andrews?

Much to the annoyance of Mrs Finkle I do, from time to time, have curmudgeonly tendencies when it comes to the sheer incompetence of, well, people. Those that find the narrowest section of the supermarket to stand and have a chat with their trolley angled into the aisle in order to create maximum chaos! The parents that let the inner door slam behind them, whilst I am holding the outer door to let them out, meaning that I now have to buzz the teachers and wait for them to walk up and let me in! When I park my car in the space furthest away from the supermarket with 982 other vacant spaces in the immediate vicinity, yet when I return there is always a battered old Peugeot parked 2.4 inches away making it near impossible to get back in. Don't even get me started on the standard of today's drivers

Every so often though and just when I have given up hope, something restores my faith in humanity (y)

My favourite at the supermarket is the utter amazement of people at the checkout that they actually need to pay followed by an in depth search of the hand bag for a purse.

Love the video of the bikers you just can't trust those Hells Angeles.

That ranks right up there along with 'unexpected item in the bagging area' :banghead:

Oh you me started.

School runs and supermarkets are just the tip of the selfish incompetence berg.

Mid lane joggers or MLMs as I call them: mid lane morons. Classic example. I went to watch Wolves a few years back in the Cup, evening game. Why? Doesnt matter. But I did. I drove up and back to Essex on the day. I decided on the M40 rather than the M1 as I thought it will be nice and quiet. It obliged me in that regard.

Between Banbury and Bicester it was extremely quiet and at one point I could see a good mile and half ahead of me a solitary car in the middle lane. All by itself. Just there in the middle lane. Not to worry, I thought, I will cross the two lanes and overtake and pop back into the inside lane. However as I approached it ( it was doing the customary 60mph as MLMs' do) it moved into the inside lane. Fair dues, not a complete moron after all. So I overtook and expressed my thanks with a cheery wave as I moved back into the inside lane. After which I looked in the mirror and the car had gone. What the! Where has it gone? Has it spun off the road? Stopped? Been abducted by an alien space craft?

No. they had only gone and moved back into the middle lane!

What is on the mind of these people?

While we are in the mood.......why is it often taken for granted everyone likes mince pies? I really lost my rag with the visiting nurse yesterday when she got arsy with me because I declined to accept one.

Firstly, I detest them and secondly when she blurted " but it‘s Christmas" I boomed " not my religion so please sod off! " , I tried to say but my speach is so muddled these days it could gave been more direct.

It shall be an interesting session Monday if she returns *

I love St Paul's Square, it really is a great spot at any time of the year.

As shown in the pictures it's so festive in the run up to Christmas and an oasis of calm away from the packed city core. In the summer it's a great place to sit outside and enjoy a coffee or a cold beer.

There are some great restaurants too (y)

The same goes for Every aspect of Christmas. The peer pressure to do this and that.....

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
