Ian, the movement link does not work. Too many dots in address ..com However removing one does not help. Your profile says it is ..co.uk - again too many dots, but again removing one does not help. Any guidance please?

Thanks Ian. Your website also lists the TUI B38M (GTUMF) as per my post as currently hangared in Hangar 5 (STS)

According to google flights, some flights to Dalaman and Palma will be on the 787 this summer.

I can’t be bothered with a mock booking on their website to confirm though as you now need to fill some sort of health insurance form before selecting a seat...

Good to see Funchal back even if it is temporary, I think this was dropped in 2019.

I'm surprised that Faro hasn't increased, even if just for a short period I thought they may have gone past 2x weekly.

Bookings to Portugal have increased 182% meaning we'll see 787's replace the 737's.

I noticed that Santorini goes 2x weekly from July, it stays 2x weekly for S22 which is good.

I've got a funny feeling, TUI particularly, will just chase capacity around Europe.

As they announce for example Canary Islands and Balearics (Given Grant uses half of his half functioning brain cell) they'll re add them and demand will shoot.

The 787 will then chase around Europe - remove FAO as demand moves elsewhere.

I agree.
I have a feeling that although life at home may become somewhat normal, the international situation will be very much like last year: weekly roulette (that's how it felt) of countries to go on quarantine list :(
However we can all but hope the vaccine rollout stabilises things.

Just this week Australia's PM has said they aren't going to sacrifice quality of life within Australia to allow international travel (or even those stranded abroad to come back!)

There is absolutely no need in Europe for this facist way to handle travel. Europe have, some countries, a far better health service than we do. I'm not discrediting our NHS but it is, has been, poorly managed for god knows how long and that is due the political football it is seen as.

America has got its stance on travel so simple; so effective and so common sense. Due to the vaccine there is minimal risk (minute) of re infection within communities/general population. Therefore providing you are fully vaccinated there is no need for quarantine upon return. Ours should be easy like that. If your half vaccinated, test before & after arrival. If your not vaccinated, test before, after arrival back into UK and 3 and 7 days respective after arrival back into UK. Done simple. European travel back on the cards from June. Okay not May 17th but gives the countries the best to catch up. Each passing day, is another day where scaling up of the vaccine efforts across the countries is happening, I wouldn't even bat an eye lid on any numbers across Europe. Don't know how I've come up with such an easy effective common sense system when our public servants cannot. Where is a country that's ran by the people for the people? I need to live there.

Australia - Facist government. But with a news/media outlet to call it out unlike here.

As for TUi and BHX - like I say. For now 787 maybe going FAO, but I would expect that on Canary Island and ALC/PMI's come the day they are released.

I would say this is almost certainly not the forum for making accusations of facism. If your impression is that Europe and Australia are facist states then I would suggest understanding more what the term means.

I may also add that whilst the NHS has its flaws (and there is not system that doesn't), I wouldn't describe the USA's health system in its current form as "simple, effective, common sense".

I was getting at their international travel policy. Not their healthcare. Just to even add more fuel to the fire Germany have given 100 countries the green light for its citizens to travel to.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
