thats aviation Ant! routes will come and go, not every route is going to increase & be sucessful! TUI were never gonna release a host of new destinations for summer 2026, and they usually just paste the previous years flights, and then slowly start reducing them, will be intersting over the next year and a half, how many of these flights or destinations will suddenly be reduced!!

Orlando is a bit of a surprise, but isnt the USA now very expensive for the UK tourist? Disney World is surely out of reach for most families cost wise?

I’m disappointed but not so surprised at the loss of Melbourne, given the drop in demand for US travel, I’m more surprised at the fact that our Melbourne flights have gone while, ie. Glasgow and Newcastle have kept theirs.

Still early days I suppose but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if TUI have indeed dropped Florida, I’ve got family who have just come back and they said the prices were eye-watering. The move to Melbourne will no doubt have put off those who don’t book a Disney package and if demand is weakening it makes sense to consolidate BHX passengers at MAN and LGW which they won’t cut because of the competition from BA and VS. That being said I find it a bit baffling BHX is cut while NCL remains.

1 B788 based all week
1 extra B788 now based Sunday to Wednesday, short haul flying
8 B737s based, mix of TUI B738's, & B737 Max8's, and possibly Fly4 or Ascend B737s?

1 extra B737 is also need for Wednesday & Saturday at present.

Could be likely as the owners of ascend have placed an order for 40 737 MAX, I heard a little rumour about Leav aviation being used but I can’t see that happening.

B788 G-TUII arrived from Teruel yesterday afternoon/evening, reported to have just been re-painted, if so thats the 4th B788 to have been repainted now this year!!

Can anyone spotting at the airport, confirm if it has been re-painted?

meanwhile new Max G-TUOB is currently on route to Gatwick, on its delivery flight, only about 6 months late!!!
