I have just had a lovely holiday in the Isle of Man and managed a few photos although they were taken with a FUJI Finepix - I didn't have room for the DSLR and lenses.

British A/W Saab 2000 - LCY route

Easyjet A320 - LGW/LPL/BRS

Flybe ATR72 (Stobart Air) - MAN/LPL

Citywing LET410 - BHD/BLK/GLA/GLO/NCL

Aer Lingus ATR72 (Danish Air Transport) - DUBView attachment 3391

British A/W occasionally use Embraer 195 on LCY and Embrear 175 on MAH charter.

I think easyjet do very well on their IOM/LPL route, it's amazing when in the days of Manx Airlines it was mainly a prop service with some BAe 146s

i think these are new routes for Easyjet, both beginning Oct 2020 IOM - BFS and IOM - BRS
IOM-BRS is not a new route for easyJet. It's been operating year-round since 2015 apart from the virus hiatus. Due to retart for the winter season at the end of October.

Ok, I wasnt sure. So maybe IOM-BFS is new.
I don't know about BFS-IOM although a check with CAA stats shows the route was operating pre-COVID and last year. Unless another airline also serves or served the route (Flybe?), there is nothing shown on Wiki on its BFS page other than easyJet which is not shown as a new route there either, although of course Wiki is never 100% authoritative. My guess would be that, as with BRS-IOM, the BFS-IOM route had been operating with easyJet pre-COVID.

Do you know I really dont know...you maybe right Easy have been running pre Covid, . I would have expected Flybe to be doing that route but maybe it wasnt. We dont hear much about whats happening at BFS or IOM on forum4 to be fair.

Does Aurigny currently operate any routes that don't involve Guernsey or the other Channel Islands? A quick glance at their website seems to indicate that they don't.
Nope they're purely Channel Islands so it definitely would be them branching out to new territory.

So for more routes from the Isle of Man they would have to set up a base there, or institute some imaginative double-drops and/or W- diagrams.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
