Which flight is downgraded?
EK 39/40 although Amadeus is still showing an A380.
We'll see if it's temporary or permanent.

Which flight is downgraded?
logic????
Also some forum members seem a little coy over their info sources???
When taken in context my comment stands on its own. As for sources and being coy..... you dont spend 36 years and counting in the forwarding industry without making good contacts. You keep those contacts by not revealing them. I am not the only one on this forum with this sort of contacts and I have no problems or issues in keeping people's confidences.logic????

Yield's are not good. Fill the evening A380 then save 30t or so on fuel per trip and make extra money on freight by going back to the 777 on the afternoon.

,he should have checked if Stansted was on there, that would have told you how up to date the system was?
I saw a post on one site (and answered the comment in the same vein as shown on this site), and the post has now vanished! I do not know what contacts other people have (nor do I wish to). All I know is that there are certain things said to me by various people which I keep under my hat until it has become public knowledge and then I will make my thoughts known. I am firmly of the belief that whilst yes the 039 / 040 has been downgraded from an A388 to a B773, that this is something which can be considered to be a good thing for both BHX and freight agents in particular. Cargo does not mind which aircraft type carries it to final destination as long as it gets there when required. The change in aircraft type means that we can get a lot more away each day than we can at the moment. That would certainly explain it.
Can't argue with that. However someone said they'd seen this information too, suggesting it is out there in the public domain. Reminds me of a time a while back when everyone was kept guessing about a new development (might have been Primera's arrival) by two or three people in the know. A member called something like user002 appeared declaring that that info too was public domain if you knew where to look. So it does appear there are public sources which some people don't want to mention for whatever reason. Perhaps it's a porno site![]()

I believe they have a shortage of 777 pilots. No confirmation of the BHX downgrade on airline routes today, however lots of airports are getting reductions and alot of x 3 weekly down to x 2 weekly. Things are not so rosy at Emirates it appears.

Hopefully yeah.So even more reason to keep BHX x 2 A380![]()
Rather have 2 x 773 to be honest with you. Already gone through the reasons why so wont repeat them again.
