The above posts do raise a couple of questions.
How are MAN and LHR easier to get to?Have they moved BHX?
Are the final destinations of passengers from MAN GLA LHR that different than those from BHX?

Why is this so complicated ?
There is a very limited market for EK currently
So why not direct BHX via MAN or LHR instead
It would cheaper to lay on taxis than operate a half empty 77W !

I don’t know about GLA and LHR but there are lists of the 10 most popular Emirates destinations from BHX and MAN on page 24 of this thread.

BHX - Islamabad, Bangkok, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Perth, Delhi, Dhaka, Cochin, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing.
MAN - Dubai, Islamabad, Hong Kong, Perth, Mumbai, Mauritius, Singapore, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, Brisbane.

The fact that we have three Indian cities in our top ten while Manchester only has one suggests a much higher proportion of BHX traffic is connecting to India.

In answer to Qatar many people in Manchester find them a better product than EK or EY and it was Qatar that have operated right through whereas
EK and EY both dropped the routes for a while and both QR and EK have carried vast quantities of PPE also QR carries a lot of post

C'mon Spicejet

Not necessarily!. Wasn't it to be 5 a week?. No flights Tues/Thurs? at least for now.

Previously reported was 5 weekly from September, so 4 weekly from August would suggest "stronger" forward bookings.

Can't find any flights on sale until September currently though...

Remember a B777 can carry a lot of cargo and a few pax as they are multi purpose. Yesterday there were two in MAN with our scheduled flight
numbers though one was pure cargo so unless you can count pax off/on or have access to system it is very difficult to tell

Still back on Wednesday or has this changed again?

Personally CANNOT WAIT for the old 2 class 777s back with the old hardly functioning ICE...

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
