I’d like to see Dash 10s or B77W on the route 3/4 weekly
May I suggest a browse on sites such as Aerolopa or seatguru to check seating configurations for Saudia 77Ws. It's worth remembering that currently neither Gatwick or Manchester see the 77W and both are served with a higher frequency. In summary, I think BHX is doing just fine with 787 for now.

My wish is for Saudia to load an additional Saturday flight during peak times. I recall browsing Google flights in late June/early July and the fare for BHX flights to Jeddah was above £1,000. On the flip side, outside the summer holiday dates the fares appeared low or back to normal.

Saudia - give us a Saturday flight for next July, August and can I be greedy and request December too. 😁 The weeks either side of Christmas are popular for Umrah trips hence my choice for December.

Every time I go Saudi Arabia for Umrah, and it is also every time in December as well on Saudia. I do agree a Saturday service in December would be nice, given every flight is full as well. I was on HZ-ARE last December (17th, also as per my DP), full to the rafters even on my 2nd January flight as well on HZ-AR33 that was maxed out.

Cost about £6000 for 8 pax when was booked last year in February for December, fares are very generous early on 😄

Ideal Airlines it would be great to have/return to BHX

What airlines would you expect next summer

Would love to see the evening A380 back on Emirates - it pains me to see it missing - it is my favourite service - the 777 to me just isn't the same (maybe because of the bar!!)

Whilst some may take longer than others I think all of those must be achievable.

I used to moan on here about only having a once weekly flight to Florida, in a little over two weeks we'll have zero :(

My wish list would be …
Cathay
Icelandair
Finnair
TAP
These would offer great connections to many cities, but unfortunately I can’t see any of the above happening

So 2026 has just started and we have new routes for summer.
What bout the second part of the year because it’s an interesting time for negotiations.Heres my thoughts

Islamabad-Air Sial/Air blue-Don’t see a return for PIA with there aircraft issues and fleet capacity’s.

La-Palma-Jet2 are starting this from Stansted and Manchester this year so why not we can’t join in on the fun.Its also a Winter Sun route.Bit like when they announced Morocco routes

Lyon-Route had potential
Hamburg-Hasn’t been served since Flybe went bust
Wroclaw-Wizz used to serve this
Gdansk-Wizz served this then axed it also Ryanair served it
Cluj-Wizz axed this because of demand
Oslo-unserved route

Birmingham Airports domestic network route is non existent, yet if you look at Heathrow, gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh. Yet Glasgow has the best, with 11 routes, compared to Birmingham Airports 3, this is another area, where Birmingham airport is failing for business needs. While other UK airports prosper and expand, Birmingham airport does the opposite. The airport needs more domestic routes in the UK

I agree Newquay and Newcastle could be future routes

The reason Glasgow gas so many routes is the Public Service Obligation Routes, mainly to the Highlands. The fact is that airports have become a total hassle, so trains have the edge, even though flying is often a cheaper option.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
