Happy Christmas 2017 everyone :)

Despite a dismal 2nd half of the year on the route development front we still have some exciting new services to look forward to in 2018 and I love reading everyone's insights. I feel like I have learned a lot in my three years as a member :)

This year my best wishes go to all the Monarch staff who are still searching for new jobs.

Concur with you on the halves this year. Hopefully the former Monarch staff have found new jobs and good prospects.

Of course tomorrow the whole city will receive a fantastic present in confirmation that the World....or a large portion of it...will come to the City in 2022. What a result and a year after we all go to Coventry.

What a truly exciting time is ahead.
 
This time last year, who knew where we’d be now eh?
In the same way that my beloved Albion aren’t having the best of times, what goes around comes around and I’m hopeful for a positive ‘18 and beyond for BHX, bring it on!
Have a happy, healthy safe Christmas and new year and here’s to some good news and good banter in the new year to come. Even Villa fans!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.

Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.

15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
