Heard Bill Oddie had died. As a birdwatcher, and generally interested in the natural world , I found Bill Oddie a great communicator, and made wildlife accessible for the many by the simple and humorous way he described a bird or animal. Of course i also remember him in The Goodies, very funny. He sadly suffered from depression during his life. Sad loss.
