Oh good, I'm glad it's not been changed to those times as I am still waiting for it to be light enough to spot! 😉

You may well have seen this on the LBA thread re a few diverts from LBA last night.

"Just looking at what happened last night as "jason 1-11" said three diversions, first G-LSAB to East Midlands as Manchester would not accept diversions then G-GDFD and G-GDFZ went to Birmingham for the same reason"

Not sure whether this was due to the work on 23R/05L at night (is it still ongoing?), or whether we just have to accept it is more likely to be the 'norm' while the TP project is ongoing with possible lack of stands at times. There doesn't appear to be an official notam published for no diversions.

I don't know why it was cancelled but it certainly wasn't pre planned as all the pax turned up at the terminal only to be told the flight was not operating.

LH947 is cancelled today. D-AISU operated LH946 but it's going out as LH9883.

DE2063 B763 D-ABUP operating LAS-FRA will call into MAN later for a crew change.

LS917 Manchester to Tenerife South was met by fire crew after a tyre burst on landing. The aircraft involved was the leased Air Tanker A330.

Does anybody have an explanation as to why SV123 is holding at the moment? I would guess burning fuel but I'm not sure. Thanks.

We have had the Saudi B787 circling around MAN since 0830, still not landed.

Has a flaps issue but had 6 hours of reserve fuel so a lot to burn off!

Interesting to note that the Saudia B787 HZ-ARC mentioned above is STILL at Manchester getting repairs done. Must have been a major issue to leave an aircraft grounded this long away from home.

Seems to be situation going on at Manchester at the moment. Many arrivals on hold, BA from LHR turning back to LHR, with Jet2 and Enter Air rejected takeoff.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
