Yeah they do Jez

But I remember we used to have issues with the Flybe E175's departing from somewhere, can't remember now which airport it was ??? Think it was an airport in Italy with a short runway.:unsure:
Probably Florence, I believe BA used to regularly have to leave luggage behind on the BRS service!

In the next 12-18 months we (hopefully) now have the return of Gibraltar, Athens, Lisbon, La Rochelle, Kalamata, Isle of Man and Banjul along with more to Amsterdam, Paris, Jersey and Barcelona.

The bad news is Nice has gone from the Jet2 website and there are some doubts about Ryanair to Sofia and Vienna. Given that Cornwall is predicted to have a bumper summer this year it's really annoying that we have no Newquay service.

Capacity is down quite a bit on some routes with plenty more still missing but given where we are at the moment I think it's been a decent few weeks for BHX (y)

Great news on (any) new flights in these times, I see easy jet are going to start NQY - no NOT from Brum but this may spoil other airlines plans from other airports who now may think of BHX

I am happy to see GIB-BHX route back but the one thing I hope the airline will do is a booking app. I been told Eastern is an airline still stuck in the 1990's. But I also hope Eastern will add BHX to Newcastle & Newquay, I know that is wishful thinking.

I agree with both, nightmare drives and trains not much to talk about. BHX could do well with a dedicated domestic airline serving all corners of the Kingdom, like European airlines serving their home markets.

Eastern did Inverness & of course Newcastle I used this service a few times but it never had more than half a dozen passengers when I used it, there is just not enough demand I’m afraid, NQY -we did have bmibaby 737’s for a summer or 2

I've also seen an article about Gulf Air that talks about using the A321XLR to increase their European presence

Quite a nice article on the transatlantic and other possibilities of the developing AirbusA321XLR. Hope is important!

A very interesting aircraft for regional airports. Seem to remember it was announced two years ago so a tad surprised it is still a couple of years away!

It would be great to see a similar style article focusing on UK to the East and what it is capable of with a profitable load.

Interesting that this seems to imply Aer Lingus relocating planes to other airports rather than just MAN. BHX would be perfect with a A321LR on JFK & I’m definitely sure this wouldn’t conflict with any ops at MAN.

Has anybody heard anything regarding the Biblio Travel flights from Birmingham to Cyprus?

I know the rumour was that Condor was operating the flights from MAN but who is the operator for BHX?

BHX does appear on the website of Cyprus Airways 2.0 but has done for quite a while so not sure it is them.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
