Possibly to close to Stansted and Manchester

This city/airport can stand on its own 2 feet, we should be a city region that can support these flights regardless of STN/MAN

Pegasus will come, maybe in 2024 ??

Possibly to close to Stansted and Manchester

Ian used to say the samne about Easyjet to AMS/LIS etc, too close to LTN/BRS/MAN/LPL, Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

I’m not sure if it’s route news or a new Greggs opening but BHX has been teasing a big announcement all week - all will be revealed on the 31st March.

Perhaps Hans Air have a new investor ?

Fridays are rarely good news days. Usually good announcements are Mon to Thurs and bad news buried just before close for weekends.

So I'm intriuged what it could be.🤔

Is the BHX to Istanbul market now large enough to sustain a low cost carrier on the route?

Flew twice on Pegasus last year and one of the first things you notice is how many passengers are connecting at SAW. In some aspects they have an edge over Ryanair/easyJet/Jet 2 because of what they have built up at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen. Granted they can do this due to their geographical position - its a smart way to grow the airline.

You would be wrong to just think of them as another LCC. They are all that but with the added hub and spoke model. Now we see Wizz trying to do the same at Budapest.

That's why it does make sense they would increase MAN and STN first for the feed. I hope BHX is their next UK destination.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
