It is same article about Delta but TTG are a well respected Travel Gazette so hopefully there is some traction on a potential new US service to BHX (no other airport got a mention

Especially with delta being a major supporter for the football teams, if delta should start, my eyes are all on the 767sIt is same article about Delta but TTG are a well respected Travel Gazette so hopefully there is some traction on a potential new US service to BHX (no other airport got a mention![]()
The B767s are gradually being withdrawn. There's no way that Delta would start a new transatlantic route with an old B767.Especially with delta being a major supporter for the football teams, if delta should start, my eyes are all on the 767s
Pretty sure Delta cancelled their XLR order ?The B767s are gradually being withdrawn. There's no way that Delta would start a new transatlantic route with an old B767.
Delta will retire their fleet of B763 by 2028 with the B764s going by 2030.
Prior to their eventual retirement, the B767s will remain on high capacity routes, offering multiple daily flights such as DTW and JFK to LHR.
The A321XLR is the aircraft that Delta would probably use if indeed they started BHX. The A321XLR is currently listed as replacing the B767s on several transatlantic routes.

Not sure about the massive bond - its a sponsorship deal at the end of the day - nobody knows how much and nobody knows for how long.I would rather focus east than west like bring back Islamabad,Increase Indian flights and maybe get a Chinese route on the go.
It won’t be at least 5 years till we see transatlantic flights to America.World cup is in America next and all I can see is charters not year round flights .
However delta and bcfc have a massive bond so who knows
No chance.Numbers weren’t demandable and profitable on the MLB routeAn astute move on Delta’s part would be to notice the hole TUI have left and launch MCO-BHX. They already fly MCO to LHR and AMS, and with VS covering MAN/EDI, what’s not to say they wouldn’t try BHX too, they’ll have it all to themselves

MLB has never really worked for them, they moved their as the cruise ships were close by but further for those going to disney. Was Melbourne an over spill or they wanted to keep the charter flights out of Orlando International?
I believe it was partly for cruise passengers. MLB is close to Port Canaveral.
TUI only flies to one airport in Florida ….MLB …regardless if you’re on a package cruise or a Disney holiday!Hmm, pity nobody seemed to differ the flights i.e for cruises go to MLB and for your Disney mob offer a flight to MCO.
With Tui you are signing up for the complete package aren't you so a cruise and a flight package would have been MLB and Disney / Orlando central would have been MCO.
