So when are the crates supposed to be going on holiday to Spain to get their Winter sun tans?

5+ Boeing 757-200's will start to leave Manchester from November 3rd onwards and are heading out to Murcia Corvera for winter storage, 2+ will remain in UK as they are due to under go some heavy maintenance checks. Not sure on dates of when the Boeing 737-300's start to leave Leeds/Bradford

For info it is worth noting that the next Boeing 737-300's flight booked to operate out of LBA are on Thursday, November 26th 2020 to Prague (LS195/196) then onto Paris Cdg (LS315/316) afterwards

With the 75's leaving for Murcia on the 3rd November, I can see the classics not been to far behind these. It will probably be around the same time(ish). I do believe only 5 of the 733's are going and one is remaining at Leeds for the same reason as the 75's that are staying in Manchester.

In regards to the flights, been honest I think they'll either be changed to a 738 or they just won't operate. Both Czechia and France are currently dealing with quite high numbers of Covid-19 and I can't see this changing within a couple of weeks.

Jet2 have started to release for sale winter 2021/22 & flights. Here's what's on sale for the LBA base so far.

City: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Budapest, Krakow, Paris Cdg, Prague, Rome Fiumicino,
Sun: Alicante, Antalya, Faro, Fuerteventura, Las Palmas, Arrecife, Funchal, Palma, Malaga, Cyprus-Paphos, Tenerife South
Ski: Geneva, Salzburg

Looks like the first of the 737/300s is heading to sunny Spain for storage.
G-GDFM(Channex 030E) is currently over the Midlands heading South at 31,000'.

Forgot to post this update yesterday. So here it is 24 hours later than planned.

Will be interesting to find out how long Jet2 are going to continue operating for after the 4th November. I am glad they've come out and said that if you're currently in resort then there's no need to worry and that you should enjoy your holiday. You can't get more satisfaction from such a fantastic customer focused company.

The previous post by lbaspotter is crucial to this weeks schedule as Thursday we enter Lockdown #2 but the week after will serve for interesting purpose as if Jet2 do decide to shut down operations, I presume they'll continue repatriation flights up to and including the 11th November as that's exactly a week from when they've said they are definitely flying until.

Watch this space.

It is no surprise why people book with them, great customer service. I am intending getting away for a few days after Christmas, but I think I will have to go on my own. I have found a nice little B&B at the end of the runway at Las Palmas.
