I've been listening to Jessie Ware again recently in anticipation for her new album 'What's Your Pleasure?' which is released this month. She's got some really good tracks.

Congratulations Liverpool 👍
Yes, huge congratulations to Liverpool. I so wanted them to get this, this season (I had hoped they'd win it last season, but they missed out on the closest of margins). I'm not particularly a Liverpool fan, but have great respect for what they have achieved over the last couple of seasons and also in the past.
The only thing that could have made it better for them, would have been to have the title confirmed with a home win at Anfield in front of a sell out crowd.

Good to see fresh life breathed into this thread. It was always great fun and a great way to 'let off steam'. It was obvious that it was Friday night, by the number of posts. Times have changed and people may now have worries not imagined prior to the COVID outbreak, but I think this thread can help lift peoples spirits.

Cheers.

Wish I could contribute to this thread but my taste in music is of the classical school i.e 15th through 19th century and as was taught, all the variety that entails. Modern stuff leaves me rigid with indifference!
I've never been a fan of contemporary music at any stage of my life. I had just passed the 'Eleven Plus' exam around the time that Bill Haley was rocking around the clock. Rock and roll never did much for me but that tract was actually quite good - even to my ears.

Oh heck, let's get YouTube to reminisce.

If there are any links on YouTube to the type of music you enjoy, JENNYJET, I would be interested to to visit them if you care to post.

I am having problems with my YouTube as it is always oversized on my screen, cannot get it back to normal. However, A good example of my taste is Handel and contemporaries and the soundtrack to film The Madness of King George is possibly a good introduction, though heavily rearranged from the original by George Fenton.

my other music of choice is The Ring Cycle by Wagner, 14 hours of pure Valhalla, a series of connecting opera based upon Norse mythology. Warning: Has unfortunate links to an Austrian born nasty!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
