It is all only slots but

AI - daily
EK - 3 daily or 2 daily plus Cargo
PC - daily
QR - 2 daily
SV - 4 weekly
Spice - 3 weekly
TK - 3 daily

U2 - 161 weekly
LS - 277 weekly
VY - daily
Wizz - 43 weekly

But most of this probably wont happen it is just what they have requested
At least you’ve said most.Is it true EasyJet have requested NCL-BHX

It wouldnt be easyjet as there are only a few slots !

Maybe a double drop charter or similar
So it looks like easyjet want to expand from Europe into the uk and easyjet Uk to Europe from Birmingham. Can see an away based route happening tbh.

Wizz look like they want to bolster there Birmingham expansion with an additional 50 extra slots I wonder where they look at.

Summer 2026 estmated ACL slots, and estimated seats per flight, average slots per week and per day:-

Seems Wizz is keen to grow at BHX, but alas slots applied for and rewarded done mean anything in their own right if they are not used….

Initial Slot Reports and Slot Applications
  • Wizz S26 = 86x weekly slots applied for
  • Wizz S25 = 34x weekly slots applied for
  • Wizz S24 = 54x weekly slots applied for

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
