Great news ref T3 re-opening! I assume all airlines that were previously operating from T3 will move over again? Or is it just going to be for Ryanair?
Also on the subject of T3 in general, are the new additional (5?) passport e-gates complete now? I think I remember reading they were due for completion around March/April time, but I assume work was stopped once the terminal closed...?

I know that Luxair together with Eastern, when they start, are down as a T3 user and presently Air France and KLM are still down for the terminal.

Ref Turkish Airlines, whenever I have looked on FR24 (most days) it's been a A321.
Ref RAM, given their current financial situation and the recent announcement of network cuts (including MAN) is this service definitely re-starting?

Loganair and Blue Islands launch partnership “to connect UK regions”

Scottish carrier Loganair and Channels Islands airline Blue Islands have launched a new partnership to provide air connections on routes between the UK, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
The deal will “soon” allow customers to purchase single tickets and benefit from guaranteed connections between the two carriers, with a focus on connections via hubs at Southampton and Manchester, linking points including Inverness and Exeter, the Isle of Man and Southampton, and Guernsey and Jersey with Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle.
Both airlines have taken advantage of the failure of Flybe earlier this year, with Loganair taking over several routes, and Blue Islands recently adding two UK bases with services including Manchester to Exeter and Southampton.
The two carriers also said in a joint statement that the ability to book single tickets for connections between the two airlines “will enable customers to save the double Air Passenger Duty which would apply if tickets for the flights were purchased separately, as well as offering guaranteed connections in the event of weather or other disruptions to their travel plans”.
Loganair’s chief executive Jonathan Hinkles said that providing dependable air services to communities throughout the UK, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man was “a core part of the ‘DNA’ of both airlines”, while Blue Islands’ chief executive Rob Veron commented:
“We are excited to form this new partnership with Loganair, hand in hand with a significant expansion of our own route network after 15 years of Channel Islands’ centred operations. It further enhances Blue Islands’ commitment to deliver robust and reliable regional air connectivity.
“We are delighted to be able to offer customers an extended route network with the peace of mind of guaranteed connections, Air Passenger Duty savings and the easy convenience of checked-through hold luggage in a single ticket.
“Whether flying for business, leisure or visiting friends and family, this partnership once again boosts regional connectivity for the communities we serve in the Channel Islands and the UK using our Manchester and Southampton hubs to connect to destinations on the Loganair route network.
“Furthermore, it will provide vital support for our visitor economies, particularly in the Channel Islands as we can welcome Loganair customers from Scotland and the north east onto our services to Guernsey and Jersey.”

One that is beginning to concern me is SQ. Routes News gave a llong list of updates on11 Aug. of SQ's planned operations for Oct/Nov. You'd expect the likes of PAR and LHR to be in there which they are. But 1 x weekly to Istanbul, Copenhagen, and the joint Milan-Barcelona flight. 3 x weekly to AMS & ZUR.

Wasn't there a story a while back that Anchorage were trying to get SQ to fly to IAH via Anchorage rather than Manchester as it was significantly less mileage. It was dismissed at the time but the fact MAN has still not appeared in their updates for even a 1 x weekly is a bit worrying.

Whether we'll see UA and AA back next summer is another issue.

The way things are happening in Europe it looks probable another lock down including UK for safety sake and lets get these morons off the street that don`t beleive there is a virus, I work in retail and a woman I know stops me and said I haven`t seen you for a while, my reply I have had the virus and she replies Oh I had the flu about 4 years ago it`s not very nice is it. I wanted to kick some sense into her but took next best and walked away

WRT Singapore Airlines, how many of the pax on the SIN - MAN leg travel onto Houston?

Currently IAH is not one of the approved "gateway" airports for the USA meaning international flights can't fly there.

Given the downturn in demand, plus the fact that there will be no US bound passengers on the SIN - MAN (and MAN - SIN) legs, perhaps its just not economical to operate yet?

From stats that were extrapolated about a year ago, the highest loads appeared to be for those flying between MAN and SIN. From memory, they varied between 160 and just over 200. The through loads SIN-IAH were relatively low and MAN-IAH was usually > 100 and up to 150. Of course, we don't know the breakdown of premium pax or yields, or cargo carryings.

The hope then was that there was enough demand on just MAN-SIN alone for a separate service. That could still be the case if things ever get back to normal.
