as usual will be wind dependant, as per the BHX CAA charts:-

6 Use of Runways

(a) Preferential Runway.

Runway 33 will be selected as the preferred runway for departures and arrivals when the runway surface is dry and the
mean surface wind speed as displayed from Runway 33 anemometer site is 5 kt or less. Aircraft requiring the use of
Runway 15 must advise ATC and state that is for operational reasons.

from my own personal point of view, i would much rather see 33 in use, so i can see the aircraft on approach over my house!

For those with any military interest yesterday at 17:50 three AS65's of 658 SQN code named "hammer" arrived from Herodfordshire. 658 SQN are assigned to the Special Air Services and tasked with delivering the SAS to any particular situation for which they are required.

All sorts turning up at BHX these days.

FR24 is showing an A320 (W43019) due from Bucharest (OTP) tomorrow at 09:20. No other details other than the airline listed as LC Peru. A search of the flight No (W43019) shows flights also operating on 27, 29, 30 April and 2 May. Appears to be Wizz Air Malta.
