The Air Tanker A332 is on its way down Lanzarote departed an hour late looks like it could be BHX based for a while as the sick 767 repoted by Matt995 is I believe is being resuscitated down at Luton while our 788 is at MAN.

Mind you the way TUI seem to chop and change these days tommorows another day.

Yeah was watching a stream from Manchester on Sunday and they said next plane in is a TUI 787 from Birmingham I had a sneaky suspicion it was Angel Of The Sky aka G-TUID because that is my stalker plane always on Airport Action Streams and now at MAN when I was watching

According to FR24 G-TUID is at BHX but hasn’t flown today.

Yesterday TUI sent a 787 up to MAN from BHX then sent a 787 from LGW to BHX! All in the space of a hour! What’s that all about?

G-TUIC has gone to Prestwick this morning - do TUI have a maintenance facility there?

They seem to be getting in the same sort of mess as last summer. If the Air Tanker A332 does indeed position out to BZZ tonight as also according to Ian's bhxmovementsblog a B789 is operating today to Antalya with no return we could end up short of widebody capacity unless something else positions

Yesterday a 737H positioned out to EMA and I've read comment on the other forum that they are short of them due to problems with Sunwing. Also noted the other the Getjet 737is operating for them from BHX.

All a bit messy.

indeed G-TUID has just been parked all day at BHX, TUI's summer timetable actual has 1 789 & 2 738s spare to cover for any problems, 1 738 G-TAWW is at St Athan's for maintenance, & as mentioned 763 G-OBYF is at Luton being fixed too, so with G-TUIC at Prestwick for possible maintenance, its stretching them a bit thin!!

However the fact G-TUID has been parked all day, Max G-TUML was also parked up in the morning, so with Air Tanker & GetJet Airlines replacing these aircraft, it seems to indicate to me that TUI have crewing problems again! You would have thought that after last year they would have learnt from it!

47000 ft .Jesus that jet was from
What?I never mentioned 47000ft.
However, if you are referring to the flight tracking on FR24 -

https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/9h-vit#309b6588

It's not unusual for business jets to fly as high as 50000ft (FL500).
Please, if you are going to make these statements can you quote your source or give a link to the info, so that the rest of us know what you are talking about.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
