Wish there was direct flights from Birmingham to Newcastle

what about Newcastle to Birmingham too?? - why do you want flights to Newcastle for are you planning to visit?

Newcastle of course was served by Birmingham European/Maersk Air and then Eastern, but can't see it being a viable option any more, some of Eastern's airfares were eye watering!!!

I believe it's for the filming of the new Superman movie. The Ice Fortress part is being filmed on Svalbard.....so a Hollywood charter.
