Airlineroute today reports:

TUI Airways during Christmas and New Year period plans temporary aircraft changes on Manchester – Toulouse route, where the airline plans to operate Boeing 767 aircraft between 20DEC20 and 03JAN21, instead of Boeing 757. This route is served once weekly during this period.

TOM2722 MAN0715 – 1020TLS 76W 7
TOM2723 TLS1130 – 1240MAN 76W 7

Thanks for the info @Scottie Dog.

I assume as in the past, these are only ski/charter flights? So if I wanted to book a flight(s) only, it wouldn't be possible?
Maybe wishing thinking on my part since Flybe collapsed there are no direct flights to and from TLS.

Anyone know what these Manchester-Stuttgart-Detroit-Manchester runs are all about?

Another 787 woke me up at 0130.

I believe they are cargo flights for car parts from Germany to the USA.

I would say it's positioning there - they've been doing cargo runs between there and the USA. One's just taken off going to Guadalajara in Mexico for the same reason.

Does anyone know why Tui 787 G-TUIN went to stuggart this morning and came straight back thought they went to the us
During Nov/Dec, TUI 787s operated to the US and Mexico from various German airports on freight charters for the automotive industry. The aircraft would position out from MAN or LGW to Germany before operating direct to the US or Mexico.

It seems that today B789 (G-TUIN) positioned out to STR before operating to MAN and then on to GDL in Mexico just over an hour later. I assume due to national lockdowns these aircraft are operating via the UK for crewing reasons whereas before the crew would night-stop in Germany before operating the charters.

"Manchester to Dalaman is top wide-body route"

Well there is no surprise. They were 2nd in the market when TC were around and now simply are responding to their position of Number 1. All flights MAN DLM on wide-body this summer?

Due to fly to TFS from MAN on 17th May, still TBC by TUI until the official government announcement, but looking like the Canaries are going to be green anyway. Does anyone know what A/C type is planned for this route on 17/05? Also, is it likely TUI will not cancel this flight if Tenerife is confirmed as a green destination?

No, had a look and there’s nothing anywhere indicating what aircraft it is. Taking a guess it could be a B737-800 but idk as they send all types of aircraft to TFS from Manchester.

Funchal route increase from 1 to 2 weekly flights for the summer.

The Catania route has been cut for Summer 22

TUIs Manchester-Verona Route will go from Summer Seasonal to Year round.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
