That website page seems rough & ready and 1/2 baked photoshop re airfield imagery. All the website page tiles have links that go nowhere. WIP...

Interesting that we can clearly see a link over to T1 and C Pier with a good 50% of the satellite pier gone altogether! Wondering if this too will become part of T2?!

For pax checking in at T2 but departing from T1 Pier B or C, that would be quite a hike along the link shown. Plenty of moving travelators we trust.

While trying to hide from an audit coming my way.
Midpoint Pier 1 to midpoint T3 = just short of a mile.
Midpoint Atlanta's first pier to pier E = just short of a mile.

Knock it all down and start again :)

Can think of a few like that CDG involves rapid transport and Dallas was a huge walk from one end to the other which we had to do

Going back to my comment about airbrushing pier 3 but not changing anything else, the pier C satellite was potentially going to be removed to allow full clearance to pier 3 (via taxiway hotel)- which has now disappeared.

I will be visiting MAN this weekend via T2 on Friday...I will report back with my latest experience.
Not been to T2 since early November last year...is there any new updates to the progress on the overall TP?

Airport has a new YouTube video but what’s more interesting is what’s in the background. Legacy side check in escalators being removed. Legacy departures new layout. And this

This appears to be the new legacy side upper departure level. Assuming orange is shopping / food and obviously cream is passenger flow, bottom right do they really plan on having access to the legacy pier - and maybe eventually pier 3 - by exiting the building into an external structure, go down a level, then turn around and go back into the main building?

Forgot I had this. Might be of some interest.

Over the last year or so before T2 work began I took a lot of photos inside, both land and air side. This was the timetable as it stood in 2019 (on display airside)

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
