I am so proud that SAUDIA are so busy now hope major airlines see Birmingham means business and we have more new airlines I had a dream last night UNITED were to start 2024 Birmingham what a dream hope it comes true- love Birmingham International Airport x x
Yeah Keep Dreaming that at happening anytime soon. You also have weird dreams if you dream about that.

A very nice find. (y) Saudia appear to be doing a lot of things right with their onboard experience.

I noticed this was filmed on a Tuesday, so Saudia and Emirates passengers amongst the many other flights in a very packed departure lounge. I can only imagine what Sunday would be like with Qatar leaving around the same time!

The lack of seating in the departure lounge (if you're not interested in the shops) is evident.

That's a great video, it looks a decent product.

I can definitely relate to that family. Me desperately trying to see everything all at once, kids so excited that they're bouncing and Mrs F walking along bleary eyed saying "I'm tired" 😁
Video confuses people why they went Dubai and didn’t take emirates 😂

It is so true Birmingham would do well with more airlines - this is another example thank you and well done for the video

Subject to change, tomorrows SV253 is 787-10 HZ-AR32 which wears the new retro livery, this is also the aircrafts first revenue flight following its delivery on August 28th from Boeing Field

Thats interesting, according to FR24 it was due to fly to MAN today but seems not to have panned out. Suggests there could also be a last min change tomorrow in that case but fingers crossed...

Today's MAN flight is a B777W (showing on FR24) due to a backlog of passengers when a B789 had to be used as the B787-10 wasn't available. Thanks to SPD Travels for the information.
The SV253 is showing as a B787-10 on FR24 en route.

It does seem the Saudi flights to both BHX and MAN have been very busy.

Cost saudia quite a lot with that aircraft change!

Now the fleet of 78x have grown they will be a lot more common, they look so much better than 789

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
