The loss of Burgas is of course disappointing but the extra PMI rotation seems to be filling up nicely with an over 99% LF. Just proves how popular HUY could be if it made efforts to offer the destinations that people in the area want! They’re obviously prepared to pay a premium to fly from there.

The AMS was lower than May but this may largely be down to Feb planned reductions due to the NATO summit. Hopefully July reported above 10,000 again!

It's time to produce my usual analysis of the CAA data - this time for July. I also have produced a report showing the figures for July from 2019 (showing the Covid effect).

With the CAA data now being available, here is my take on the latest monthly statistics. Please remember that, for an unknown reason, there is always a difference between the total passenger figure in Table 9 and the separate figures from Tables 12.1, 12.2 and 12.3.

The reason for the fall in domestic passengers is that traffic on the Aberdeen route fell to zero from 812 in the equivalent month last year. This was caused by the demise of the operator, Eastern Airways.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
