It appears that Jet2 have once again got the job of Leeds United team bus for their away match at Swansea on Sunday. LS6944 is scheduled to fly them down to Cardiff tomorrow evening (which may be interesting given the arrival of Storm Bert) and LS6945 brings them home, hopefully with 3 points, on Sunday evening which might still be interesting if the strong winds are still in evidence.

Bradford City go by Wallace Arnold coaches.

If i was in charge id forget the plane and use coaches if the weather is to be bad, plan early for the sack of the team, only positive is if its jet2 the aircraft more than likely will already be parked up at LBA so no issues trying to land at LBA To collect the team, bit of common sense really!

I'm sure that if the weather is such that landing at Cardiff (or Bristol as an alternative) is unlikely, then they'll have a plan B to go by road, but if they do, they need to set off much earlier than the plane's scheduled departure time or they'll be arriving at midnight! It's more of a problem coming back as they won't be booked into a hotel so have to either get the plane or be travelling by bus again for 4 or 5 hours after the game, which isn't ideal.with two more games next week.

Winds in the forties at Cardiff for Saturday evening’s landing, in the low forties on Sunday evening at LBA for the return Ianding. Always assuming the match goes ahead because there’s a yellow rain warning, with prolonged heavy rain at Swansea both Saturday and Sunday.

If they can't fly, going by bus won't be fun in this weather, and imagine doing that only to have the match postponed! 😕

easyJet Europe Airbus 320 OE-INP is enroute from Paris Charles to Gaulle to make her first LBA visit in around three quarters of an hour.

Wizz Air Airbus 321 Neo HA-LGM is just airbourne from Gdańsk Lech Walesa to make her first LBA visit later this afternoon. This aircraft was constructed in the Airbus factory at Tianjin (China) earlier this year.

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
