No argument from a climate change perspective because if permission is denied then people will drive to other airports to take same flights.

Impact on job creation and investment.

Impact on international status and standing of our city.

Impact on tourism and inward investment due to flight availability.

No right to choose to live by an airport and then complain about noise.

I’m sure we’re all thinking the same but just in case… there are certain things in a letter of support that will not be considered so whilst we currently have the quantity, let’s remember the quality of any submission is important as well!

• Vague Positivity: Do not just write "I support this because it's good"—unbacked opinions carry zero weight.

What to Do Instead

• Keep It Technical: Focus on how the Quota Count System incentivises quieter aircraft technology.
• Keep It Regional: Frame your support around Yorkshire's wider economic infrastructure and job security.

An extra 300. metres would be helpful then we may get some airlines looking at LBA as new route announcements seem to be going to all the other airports in the UK bar LBA.

You no im correct finger, you just cant handle the truth 🤣 seriously tho as dmrogers points out the runway is an issue for some airlines and routes plus TDZs esp r32 could be looked at. I know whats coming tho " me been called a stuck record" 🤣
