London Luton Airport (LLA) has opened the doors to a second lounge, further expanding the range of choice available to passengers ahead of the summer.

My Lounge, located in LLA’s departure lounge, features a design inspired by loft style living and can accommodate 135 guests.

Operated by No1 Lounges, a SwissportALD Holdings company, the lounge is accessible to Priority Pass and Lounge Key cardholders, whilst less frequent travellers can pre-book their visits directly via the No1 website at no1lounges.com.

The lounge offers an all-day self-service pantry in proximity to its bistro seating area which is designed for travellers to relax and enjoy a seasonal menu and pancake machine. Alcoholic beverages, including premium beers, wines and spirits, are available from a fully tended bar. Coffees, teas and juices are available from self-service stations.

My Lounge at LLA also offers a games area for passengers to unwind with their favourite video game or to enjoy some TV before they fly. Guests can also access a host of free downloadable digital newspapers and magazines available in over 60 languages.

The opening of My Lounge follows the launch in December 2023 of the hugely successful No1 Lounge that has proved to be hugely popular with travellers passing through the airport.

Mark Jennings, Head of Retail & Surface Access, at London Luton Airport, commented: “Providing passengers with even greater choice is a cornerstone of London Luton Airport’s responsible growth plans and the opening of this second lounge provides a stylish and relaxing additional space for travellers to enjoy as they pass through the airport. This investment from No 1 Lounges is the latest in a series of terminal enhancements that we have delivered over recent months, all of which supports the simple, friendly passenger experience we are committed to delivering. With LLA’s stunning No1 Lounge already established as a firm favourite with leisure and business travellers, the opening of My Lounge, ahead of the summer, is perfect timing as it looks set to become an instant, equally popular choice for our passengers.”

Shaun Weston, Managing Director of No1 Lounges, a SwissportALD Holdings company, commented: “It’s amazing to see the hard work of the No1 Lounge team come to fruition at London Luton Airport. We’re excited to extend our portfolio of lounges with this addition and to continue our working relationship with LLA. Our goal is to develop a unique and stylish travel experience and we’re confident that the new My Lounge space at LLA will deliver an exceptional guest experience and create memorable travel moments for passengers.”

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
