Are there any further 2nd hand B737-800's planned to join the fleet this winter?

The answer is no.

Jet2 future plan Based on the investor presentation for FY24 published last month

Boeing 737-300's will gradually reduce from Summer 2025 to winter 2027/28. Meaning Summer 2027 will be last summer of them operating the Boeing 737-300 fleet out of Leeds/Bradford base.

No Boeing 757-200s for next summer. All retired this winter 2024/25.

93x Boeing 737-800's for summer 2025 and will remain like that until after Summer 2026.
It will then reduce to 91x for Summer 2027 and be down to just 52x by Summer 2030

2x Airbus A321ceo's will leave the fleet after Summer 2028 and the 3rd will leave end of summer 2029

105x brand-new Airbus A321neo's by summer 2030.

It is hoped that Summer 2025 will be the last year of ACMI leases according to the projection. But that might change if forward bookings are looking strong.

Jet2 forecasted projection fleet for summer 2030 will consist of 157+ aircraft.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
