The response as printed is very corporate, but not dire. However remember, this is the Yorkshire post, which normally copy pastes snippets of information and pulls together a click bait article that could be better written by a 10 year old child. So whilst the lounges may need improvement, I wouldn’t be putting too much credence in what the YP cobbles together, or what Randomers say on trust pilot.

Unfortunately companies do have to worry about what customers say about them on the likes of TripAdvisor and Google. I still think the response was poor, it read to me as “this is an economy lounge, what do you expect for forty quid”! Mind you, that said you’re never going to please everybody.

Recently returned from the Dominican Republic. People moan about LBA but frankly we should be proud of our little airport.

Here was the arrivals immigration experience in the Dominican Republic.

And this was the departure experience.

It cost £10 for a simple but cold Taco Bell.

As for LBA, no it isn't perfect and there is room for improvement but it really isn't the horror people make it out to be. It might not be cheap but If you want a cheap pint, you can call at Wetherspoons before you get to the airport if it's going to make you feel better.

I saw a post stating load factors on AGP below par.
Just looked at today's outbound. 81 on seat selector, with the flight in just over 5 hours. Really not encouraging to see, even if its the tail end of the summer holidays. Not looking any better for Sunday either

On the upside, seems to be 151 of 156 on the inbound Sunday

Not veveryone selects their seats so you cannot assume it's a half empty flight. Apart from that, it will take time for people to become aware that Easyjet fly the route. For several years, the choice was Jet2 or Ryanair. Perhaps Easyjet need to up their game in terms of publicity because there hasn't been much!

That seems to confirm what Ive heard in other posts from people who've been on the flights.

The low prices currently on offer are also indicative of poor bookings. I agree, advertising has been poor.

If you sent that to the YP and told them it was LBA they'd swallow it hook line and.....hmm better not🤣🤣🤣

Flew out on a 1 hour late FR2503 yesterday, the airport and car parks were very busy which was good to see.
New extension looked nice but the lounge experience was bad.
I was able to use The Avro lounge with my Priority Pass free of charge. The selection of food and snacks was dreadful, a few slices of ham (aprox 4), crackers, crisps and that was it, house beer was Moretti but I had to pay £7.50 for my wife's small bottle of prosecco. If I would have had to pay I would have been really cheesed off (they had a few slices of that as well).

You would have thought with all the negative feedback since openining they would have had time to sort the issues by now.

You would have thought with all the negative feedback, members on here would think twice before using the lounge rather than continuing to use the lounge only to then complain about it.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
