The candidate for Labour who objected to the new terminal plans came knocking on my door. I was just about to go out otherwise I would have given her my two penith. She asked who I'd voted for and needless to say I declined to comment. I she was elected that'll be more houses, more traffic, more speed bumps, more 20 mph zones.

Labour council. 57 Labour seats.

This city needs to really think about who it is electing. Labour are useless. It's nice to know in my council ward we held our Tory councillor who won with double the amount of votes to 2nd place. Labour don't and won't ever stand a chance of getting in.

Surprisingly Harewood went Labour. That is a shock.

Don’t know where you got your information from - unsurprisingly the LCC website shows that the Conservatives HELD Harewood with a majority of 2573.

Not really great if you want decent transport infrastructure, want value for money, and want a decent city to live in. We are going to be the net zero as these greens take over and hell bent on cutting emissions. They’ll take our standard of living back to the dark ages.

All back by useless MP’s.

Foran got 8.5% of the vote, hardly the Mr. Important and Popular he thinks he is, but unfortunately in spite of this lack of general enthusiasm for the greens in elections they still seem capable of wagging the tail of the majority dog especially when it comes to aviation.

I wrote to him and told him never to set foot on my property - or his canvassers. So far, they haven't. Pity really, as I would now love to give him both barrells.
If i saw him id also question his mindset, is this self interest over the city to just give you votes and make you look good etc then id come out with all the true facts about cleaner aviation ie yesterdays b707s to todays max and neo jets, really trap the b**** in a corner!

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
