Boarding usually commences around 40 mins before your flight departs. Check in closes before boarding. You will likely be printing your own boarding pass. Personally I wouldn't leave it so late but it is doable.

Already done check in online, so I've already got a boarding pass. It leaves me around 50 mins to get thru security. I agree, I'd normally like a bit more time, but I'm trying to be a cheap skate and avoid the £20 taxi fare.

We flew to Lanzarote LS217 last Thursday a.m.-0615; “The Zombies on Tour” following 0210 alarm call. (Haunting memories of starting work there back in the day)
We had checked cases in at previous evenings twilight check-in. In and out of free 1 hour car park inside 30 mins.
Arrived Thursday morning about 0320 at Security armed with Fast Passes to find no passengers. So played pick a tray, pick a gate. Through in 5 minutes right ahead of the first bunches of passengers. Leisurely breakfast, pulled off the stand on time and airborne 0623 ish.
Smooth flight to Arrecife touching down at 1020 ish. Through security, cases collected and on transfer to resort (PB) by 1108 ish. First drink at the pool bar 1215.
PS The zombies had gone by next morning.
Love this flying and holiday lark.

There are so many possible jokes there around Watts it Currently doing there would come as a Shock to many but as I aren’t allowed to post them then I won’t! Oh wait.................

Carry on please. We need to keep the personalities and humour alive both on the forum and in real life. Humour and laughter is what makes this world go around ☺️

Look we could 'strike' a deal. Take the 'lead' and open a new thread for jokes, it would surely serfice. Jokes are fine within the forum but in the right place. If people come here just to read about a given subject for instance but they end up feeling 'energized' and in 'shock', that isn’t what the forum is about. So the moral of the story here is open a seperate thread where it does what it says on the tin - Jokes to free up the forum for more genuine discussion 😉

Right that’s me done with F4A. Puns can only really be made in relation to a specific topic, not just randomly posted in a specific jokes thread. So if that is what is required then I stand by a previous comment of F4A following the world in going mad. I get that people would always love facts and news but I bet if you put a poll out there then many would still want them included. Rant over and that’s me on my way. Take care all

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
