AGP was 89% LF! Only 2 Thursday flights were operational for September and without FR it makes it 10 return flights!

Hadn't realised the Thursday flight stopped mid month.
Also tracked down some more info from SWAG. Updates to AGP, TFS and HER

73,572 used the airport in October 2022. The rolling year was 811,835.

The airport is doing a little better than what they predicted earlier in the year, they were hoping for about 850,000 by the year end, so nearly there with two months to go. If Paris, Jersey and Glasgow could be reinstated in the future, that would be a good boost. There has certainly been a boost in other areas of revenue, such as executive charters, and training flights, every little helps!

October CAA Stats for scheduled flights
Average pax & Load factor
October starts in bold. September stats in brackets for comparison

EDI 36 Pax LF 74% (37 Pax LF 76%)
BHD 57 Pax LF 79% (55 Pax LF 77%)
DUB 146 Pax LF 77% (145 Pax LF 77%)
ORY 95 Pax LF 43% (90 Pax LF 41%)
AMS 7228 pax carried. Down from 7875 pax carried in Sept but unsure of frequency)

ALC 127 Pax 70% (152 Pax LF 81%) (VY based on 6x weekly flights)
AGP 110 Pax 61% (159 Pax LF 89%) (VY based on 3x weekly flights)
PMI 132 Pax LF 73% (152 Pax LF 76%) (VY based on 2x weekly flights)
FAO 181 Pax LF 96% (160 Pax LF 78%) (FR based on 2x weekly flights)

I've no idea how many frequencies KLM operated and what a/c type.
DUB included the extra 5 flights through the month.
VY flights disappointing, provided the did do the number of flights as above. I can't find any posts within the forum to say they dropped frequencies. A good month for FR to FAO though.

Orly is poor, BHX are seeing regular 180-200 pax loads on this route now after a slow start.

October stats with cancellations and frequency are as below!

VY AGP occupied as 2x weekly
1 EDI flight cancelled
Extra FAO with winter Sunday flight
VY ALC 5x weekly

Had it been given time to mature am sure this route would have worked, but only with added frequencies as 2 weekly just isn’t the best to work with for leisure travellers and nowhere near enough for business travel.

Let’s hope we see Paris return as some point…

Nice to see the amended figures with 8 routes with in the 70's and 80's percentage loads, Paris would certainly have worked with a smaller plane.

I agree with you with you CWL94, I think he route would be very successful on a 175, but the fares would have to be reasonable to compete with Easyjet at BRS.

BHX is an airport with 10 times the footfall so should be filling up 200 seater aircraft too Paris. With Cardiff Paris is a route more suitable for 80 too 100 seater aircraft, with onward connections available and 5 too 7 weekly flights. It really needs Air France Hop! too CDG to make the route work.

Some nice big percentage rises on Amsterdam and Belfast, and a 621% rise on the moving annual total, nice to hear some good news for a change, and slightly better than the airport expected for the year with December figures still to come. Thanks Scottie for your hard work.

Thank you Scottie, figures are still quite low, but they did reach the airports hoped for target, and at least they are moving in the right direction.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
