Looks like an 8% increase at Cardiff.
Thanks Scottie, it's good to see international passenger numbers increasing slightly in May, but disappointing on the domestic front and Amsterdam.
Given the Amsterdam route has been cut by over a third (sometimes it’s only once a day) I don’t think an 8% drop is too disappointing.

With 5 more months of figures is there a chance that CWL will reach the 1million mark by the end of December? I did read sometime back, that Spencer Birns thought the figure would be around the same as last year, but that was before the PLAY flights were announced, and Nations Cup football flights were known. Let's hope for the best.

Whilst there’s a decline in some routes e.g AMS and no Paris - I think the load factors are higher on the remaining routes. Providing the trend continues we should see a stronger year than last. No scheduled route to Malaga might hurt the figures for the last 2 months of the year.

I'd be surprised if it went over a 1 million but hopefully we'll see over 900,000.

I was looking at the moving Annual figure which is showing 868025 at the end of June, with June better by 9%, than last year, and still 5 months to go, I thought that with over 3 month of Summer figures to come, I felt it might reach 1million.

Would be great if it did! Maybe I'm just trying to be a bit cautious. I do think it'll be close.

Fingers crossed and it shows there is fight in the dog. Airport management really need to up their game now. Mildly exciting times!

That is a big drop on DUB flights, have Ryanair been messing around with the timing of their flights?

The Saturday flight tends to have poor loads as it’s a late night flight. The biggest drop is because they only fly 4 times a week where as last year it was daily.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
