A slightly inane question, but I was thinking about this today and thought it might provoke a bit of a discussion on here. I've flown from a fair few, but I know that plenty on here will easily be able to trump my list...which is as follows...

England:
LBA
Heathrow
Gatwick
Stansted
Liverpool
Manchester
Birmingham

Ireland Dublin

Northern Ireland Belfast Int

Netherlands Schipol

Germany:
Berlin Tegel
Dresden

29, thats pethetic for someone who does 8-10 flights per year!

Too many to list, so you will have to trust me.
82 Airports in 24 countries.

I'll accept the challenge, but I will set you one as I will list the three letter codes.
UK:

Re: Can you recall ALL of the airports that you've flown fro

We (my wife and I with our children in the early days who now fly with their own families far more often than we fly these days) began using aircraft for leisure about forty years ago. Since then neither of us has had the good fortune to fly with someone else picking up the tab, apart from one occasion when we agreed to be 'bumped' from an overfull KLM aircraft in consideration of a significant sum of money that actually covered our original return fares from Bristol to Amsterdam. KLM also chucked in a complimentary meal and drinks in the first class restaurant at Schipol and flew us home via Brussels with Sabena. Would that sort of customer relations occur these days?

I reckon we've averaged about six rotations a year over that time (more in the earlier years though fewer in the last couple of years) which gives a total not that far short of 500 flights though we are creatures of habit who know what we like and tend to make many repeat visits.

I've set out the list below as best I can remember it but there are probably one or two omissions. France is absent from the list as all our visits to that country have been by ferry or tunnel.

The Balearic and Canary Islands combined are our most prolific destinations. We've been to the islands around 50 times, which makes about 100 visits to the airports there if you count out and back. Scotland and Newcastle come next with around 40 rotations (80 flights) in total followed by Amsterdam with probably around 20 visits (40 flights) both to The Netherlands and from there across the Atlantic.

I apologise, CRK should have been ORK - Cork. BSC is Brescia in Italy, BGN is Bergan in Norway. I think they have been completed now, but I will turn down Pilot Ben's challenge, I know my limitations. Thought I was going to get stuck in Bremen this week when they started closing the airspace again, but I managed to get back home without any problems.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
