Re: Can you recall all the TYPES of aircraft you have flown

I thought I had put my list on here, but obviously not. Just a few to mention:

Embraer EMB120 Brasilia – Sabena
Saab 340 – British Midland
Fokker F27 – Air UK
Fokker 50 – Air UK
Fokker 100 – Air UK, British Midland

CRJ100 – Lufthansa Cityline
CRJ200 – Eurowings, Adria
CRJ700 – American Eagle
BAC111 – British Airways
Vickers Viscount 700 – British Airways

Douglas DC10-30 – Canadian Airlines
Boeing 747/400 – British Airways, Singapore Airlines
Aerospatiale Concorde – British Airways

Most of these since 1993.

Are there really so few of us who have flown on Concorde?

Re: Can you recall all the TYPES of aircraft you have flown

It's not that surprising at the cost. Even the "specials" cost about £300, a lot of money for a single flight.

Re: Can you recall all the TYPES of aircraft you have flown

I have had a little think. And I am going to attempt to list.

DC9 - British Midland
737-500 - British Midland
ERJ145 - BMI
Fokker F50 - Air UK
737-400 - Air UK Leisure
737-300 - Britannia, Jet2, Monarch, Transavia
737-700 - Easyjet
737-800 - Ryanair, Britannia
A320 - TAP, Britannia
757-200 - Britannia

Feels like quite a short list. I'm sure there will be one or two I have missed out. As for the best and worst, the best was the BMI ERJ by miles. The worst was the Britannia A320. Horrible aircraft.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
